“Better Sentence Series”
Our 2024 Learning Path to Get You Conversational!
Borderless Spanish is excited to announce starting in 2024 its “Better Spanish Sentences” course series. It’s the perfect time to set new goals for the new year, and learning Spanish is a fun and rewarding way to challenge yourself in 2024.
It all starts with great teachers and a helpful curriculum to follow in an easy-to-understand path. After a free class, an assessment is done to determine your level. Whether you’re new to the language or want to refine your skills, we will adapt our “Better Spanish Sentences” to your unique requirements. For each level, the series will include:
Never Taken Spanish
In this level, you will find listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities for the following Sentence Series:
- Series 1: Personal Brand: Give basic information about yourself and others, such as your nationality, place of residence, phone number, email address, marital status, job, workplace, and work schedule.
- Series 2: Words That Work: Learn vocabulary like numbers, family members, jobs, countries and nationalities, food, furniture and domestic appliances, hobbies, adjectives for describing the physical appearance and personality, places of the city, months and seasons, colors, clothing, and parts of the body.
- Series 3: Daily Talks: Deal with everyday situations, such as asking and telling the time, saying where things are, giving and understanding instructions, asking for favors, making an appointment by phone, meeting someone, and accepting or declining an invitation.
- Series 4: Time-Traveling: Talk about facts using the simple past, describe present actions, and express plans using the ir a + infinitive.
- Series 5: Travel Talks: Handle situations while traveling, for example, ordering breakfast or lunch, booking a room in a hotel, taking public transportation, and asking for an address.
Took in School, Know the Basics
You will review and practice some of the lessons you studied in the previous level with many listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities included in the following Sentence Series:
- Series 1: Sentence Refinement: Learn the formation of relative and conditional sentences and more complex grammar structures like using ya and todavía adverbs, comparative and superlative adjectives, and some quantifiers.
- Series 2: Tenses Showdown: Know when using present perfect, simple, or imperfect past.
- Series 3: Past Memories: Express recent actions and experiences using the present perfect, talk about past habits, and describe facts in the past using the imperfect past.
- Series 4: The Commands Art: Express prohibition and obligation with hay que, se puede, or no se puede; give impersonal instructions with se and advice with imperative.
Intermediate, Almost Conversational
It is probably the most extended level because through different listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities, you will practice the following series:
- Series 1: Familiar Talks: Talk about regular topics like food, medicines, jobs, sports, movies, weather, and feelings.
- Series 2: Paper Messages: Write notes, messages, informal emails, and motivation letters and fill out forms.
- Series 3: Superstar Suggestions: Make and ask for suggestions and advice, express probabilities and make conjectures, ask permission, and offer help.
- Series 4: Survival Guide: Go to the doctor, buy clothes, look for a job, request information, move, or rent a house in a Spanish-speaking city.
Advanced, Perfecting it All
In this level, you will do more speaking, listening, and writing activities to become a proficient learner with the following Sentence Series:
- Series 1: Language Mastery: Use advanced grammar, vocabulary, all verbal tenses, and many idiomatic expressions, complain about something, agree, and disagree.
- Series 2: Professional Communication: Read, understand, and write resumes and personal and formal emails.
- Series 3: Delightful Discussions: Understand complex conversations, talk, and discuss in detail about things that are ideal and interesting to you.

Who is our program
for?
The program is aimed at beginners and intermediate learners of Spanish. It is designed to meet students’ needs and CEFR requirements. Here is a brief overview of what you will learn in Borderless.
Well presented, developed, and practiced language content
The student will be able to practice the four skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking) while also working in-depth on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
Communication and culture
The student will develop communication skills, sociocultural and intercultural abilities.
SELF-ASSESSMENT
Tests are available for the student to evaluate his or her progress. Activities are designed to revise and master the topics learned.
Extra materials
Activities include grammar and vocabulary summaries, practical exercises and Spanish conversation videos.
